A few years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't in our long-range plan. Like many relocation stories, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The early months were demanding — fresh systems, new routines, and higher expectations. Everyday chores felt tougher than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. Yet gradually routines settled in. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and started building something that felt stable.
Why I Built ZelvicaDornirup
Most online information fell into two camps: corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family view.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in United Kingdom.
